Getting Here

  • Driving
    Driving is often the preferred method of reaching us as it offers the greatest flexibility when you are here. From Inverness follow signs from the A9 for Ullapool. 10 miles north of Ullapool take the Achiltibuie turning on your left. Take care on the single track road as the views are stunning but the bends are frequent and you need to keep your eyes on the road! Please also use the passing spaces for passing and not parking! When you come through Achiltibuie, keep going along the road to Badenscallie, where you will find a sign saying "Badenscallie Burial Ground" where you take a right. Roangorm at the bottom on the left, clearly sign posted.

  • Buses Ullapool to Achiltibuie
    The Achiltibuie and Ullapool bus runs twice-daily. In term-time this is early morning and a second in late afternoon, normally connecting with coach services to and from Inverness. Outside term-time there is still the early morning service with the late service replaced by one at midday.

    Buss links between Ullapool and Inverness are mainly based around the Stornoway Ferry timetable so vary according to seasonal sailings. The bus from Ullapool to Achiltibuie takes approx. 30 minutes.
